Just completed Gauntlet, looking for rank up advice

Long story short:
Was able to form a t5mutant and selected a t5cosmic from gauntlet, along with the rewards I'm able to R3 one champ, then saving up resources to R3 the other.

Content Progression:
Explore act 6.2+
Start Act 7
Explore last 3 variants

(I'm behind because I took a long retirement nap)

Anyways below are some of the top contenders for ranking up (in no particular order)

Note: I have the 50 generic sig stones, and any champ that says R1-R3 would be using the generic R2 gem

I'd R3 Apoc and then use the R1-R2 gem on Magneto. Then you can R3 CGR when you've got the other resources. I'd also save those generic sig stones. I didn't see anyone on that list I would invest generics into at this very moment.

Silver Surfer is a prestige/personal preference choice.

Angela is a good utility champion but a 5* is better so you can get her sig up.

Since you don't consistently run suicides, I wouldn't go corvus. If you have finished lots of Act 6, he doesn't need r3 for act 7. Used him a lot in 7.1 6* r2 unawakened without suicides and he got the job done. 7.2 he's a lot less useful.

Cosmic GR was my first r3 and although I don't regret it, I would rather a r3 apoc. CGR is good for war, aq, potion farming, and clearing lower act 6 because of his insane damage.

Apoc would be my choice. A lot of utility, a ton of damage, and of course the synergies/horseman ability.

Corvus for me, as he saves me resources. Then Magneto, as he demolishes metal folks.

If you have access to them I'd r3 corvus then apoc.
And R2 mags unless you already have a 5/65.

Should be set for act 6 exploration. Act 7 is far easier but if you're willing to go through act 6 exploration I'd do it first as well as variants so you know what to pick from selectors in 7.1 &2.
And it's best to have 6* ag from act 6 in case it affects nexus choices

Went with apoc for now. Saving the R2 generic for a rainy day, and building resources back up to decide between corvus or CGR.

How were you able to complete this? I couldn't get passed doom fight as i was already bored 5 mins into the fight
