Gauntlet Advice?

I already did path 1, I want to know if I can do path 1-3? Just for the 2 chests with the resources I currently have? Or do I do path 1-2 to get my last 25% cosmic I need for VtD r3 and build my resources till it returns before I explore?

I can solo doom with havok and I can solo Terrax with Ghulk.
