I used quake, very easy. You can try Doom too.

If you can't quake well, maybe Doom could be feasible. He is shock immune [counter against EMP], can control power [counter against spite]. You may need to slow down the fight, to minimise Ultron's evade [spry].

I am wondering whether an awakened Ronan can stun lock him the whole fight.

I used Sunspot. Cost me some revives but worked. He's definitely not the best option but he can outdamage Ultron. And I didn't have many decent options available at the time.
