Well looks like it... v32.0 release notes have no mention for the summoner appreciation. Looks like no freebies this time around... 😅

    Just went and checked. It was briefly mentioned in the 2019 notes, but it was not mentioned in the 2020 notes.

    Note: for 2019 it was the Stealth Spidey/Mysterio month, for 2020 the Guardian/Sasquatch month.

    It’s also incorrect. The calendar is a 3-month investment that produces excitement and appears generous. It would excite players to invest more in their accounts. Meanwhile, not getting the calendar after two straight years with it? That’d be viewed as a thumb in the eye from summoners who are on the fence about spending, especially if the deals are on par with cyber weekend for certain progression titles.
    I never said anything about them not doing the calendar, I only said they might start it after this weekend's deals.

    Plus I hope it’s progression based.
    How would that work? If you get a New title and you are on Day 14. Will you Stay with you Old title calander till the end? Will you start over on a New calender. Or Will you continue on Day 15 of the next progression calander.
    It would be very tricky to implement properly.

IF we do get a SA calendar if it was to be tiered I would expect either an announcement beforehand letting people know they should push for the next milestone (which obviously hasn't happened) or it could just reset each week, so you can move up tiers between calender weeks but not during them

    If they only make the last 4 weeks tiered, it can work pretty similarly to how the monthly calendar currently does. If you hit a new tier during those last 4 weeks, tough luck. It'd give you 8 weeks to get to whatever highest tier you can.

    Kabam had a low performing quarter. You think they're not going to try to fix that from a business standpoint?

    The calendar isn't promised and the idea that we deserve it is far fetched. Do I think they take it away? Not at all... Do I think we'll see it after the 4th of July weekend? Absolutely... That's good business.

    Everybody needs to do like the canadians and chill oooot.

    I'd be very surprised if we don't get an summoner appreciation. Do it once and you don't necessarily have to do it again. Do it again the next year at the same time, it becomes an institution.

    They did say last year when everyone started crying they hadnt heard anything they're under no obligation, and can stop / start things as they see nessecary. We'll likely see it, but it'll never be announced, CCP are never told about it either. It'd be nice if they did it progression based, but previous years have been amazing, especially if you start a FTP account when it starts off.

    Id expect it to start soon. Consider this, Hercules is a champion chosen by the summoner. Kinda fits right in with summoner appreciation.

    It's a calendar not an event so why would they release it in patch notes? Wait a couple more days before you jump to conclusions. They might announce it later.
