Can't use rank up gems

I have a couple of 3->4 generic rank up gems (2017 and older) from variant 6 and 7, but i can't use them.

When i select a champ to rank up, It priotirizes the class rank up gems that I have, It won't let me select the generic ones

    Yep, the game defaults to class gems and Kabam hasn’t done anything to address these ongoing rank ups gem issues.

    Contacting support to use an in game item is a terrible process

    My posts still aren’t visible to the public and I’m not banned. Can a Kabam mod please help fix this problem?
