The only time a change applies to content like that is if it involves animations. For example, OG Black Panther in Realm of Legends has the new animations, but they are still on his original recipe kit.

Not really.. All champs in LOL and AOL have prefix Ex. So, they are other versions of that champ. That is the reason why we dont see champ updates in these 2 quests. ROL has real champs not alternate version champs, so we see champ updates.

You're wrong about RoL.
Blackbolt still has his SP2 recoil damage even though it was removed from him A LONG time ago.

This isn't entirely correct. RoL Juggernaut, for example, can still be stunned while Unstoppable and does not have the stagger abilities that Juggernaut received way back. I haven't played RoL far enough to get to Blackbolt in a while, but I believe RoL Blackbolt still does damage to himself on his SP2, which Blackbolt no longer does in normal content, another change that was made after the release of RoL.

I didn’t know standard 4* champions without nodes could have 500,000 health. I must’ve missed that somewhere along the way.
All of the “of Legends” content uses alternate versions of the champion, regardless of Ex. prefix. Animation changes, unlike ability changes, impact both iterations of the champion because they only use one model between them. If the Ex. champ were based on a different model, it would not change. But why would Kabam create a whole new model for a champion that’s already in the game?

You think R5 4*s with 500k hp and no nodes are the same basic pool characters?

Lol I think you meant to quote the guy beneath me. I made the same comment though.
