Late purchase of summ(on)er resort pass

Question for mods/someone who was in my situation.
So I want to buy the summoner resort pass. However, I've already completed my 10 battles for the day and claimed the objective. If I buy the base pass now will I gain that point in the event or will I be unable to achieve maximum milestones without purchasing the 7 milestone booster?

To my understanding (and this could be wrong) if you purchase the Base Pass now, the Objective you already completed is counted towards the Second Event Counter but will be stuck in Pending until you complete tomorrow's Objective...

Why it's like this I don't know because according to the Plus Pass (and this may be incorrect on my part) they have the Ability to give you that first one (or any others you already completed) immediately, it seems unnecessary to make that Selling Point of the Plus Pass probably cause they realized the Pass Plus really has No Value behind it past the 7 Day Safety Net for anyone who may not be able to login for a couple days...
