Mastery help...

This is my rather botched mastery set up, I kinda need some help with where to put my points/what I should unlock sooner rather than later. (I have 10 points to use and 667 units, although I might just recover all my points and redistribute them...) Thanks!

Show us your roster as well since that changes things

    1) Get willpower and 15 pts in defense
    2) You don't need 9 points on greater strength, even 1 will do
    3) Proficiencies look ok but highly consider 5/5 limber and 3/3 stupefy
    4) In order to get 15 pts in defense and unlock willpower, go for some combination of salve recovery energy/physical resistance, stand your ground, or block proficiency.
    5) Assess if your roster would highly benefit from suicide masteries, although they are very expensive and completely optional.

It takes a while to accumulate units for all of this so don't stress out if you don't have units. I would recommend redistributing your offense and adding to your defense/proficiencies.

max out stupefy, get will power as soon as you can, take out points from greater strength, they should be the last place to use your points.

Willpower points are expensive, 1.1k for the first one, then 550 each for the next two. So save your units, and if you don't want to use your points elsewhere get energy resistance, it doesn't cost units.

Alright this is it updated, I have 7 points left and 326 units left. I know I want wp, but I'm not sure how many points I should save for that. Suggestions? I thought about running MD but I dont actually use mystics all that often.

To do list: Send roster, One point of limber, One point crit resistance, 1 point in courage and 3 into despair, unmax stand your ground and get 1 point salve then max recovery and willpower. If there arent enough points for max willpower and recovery take out of glass cannon

Yeah I'll get around to recovery and wp, but recovery is over 700 units. I'm not sitting at a great amount, so that'll be something I'll do in the future. I'd rather unlock wp first, and I dont want to put points into salve without being ready for recovery.
Willpower is pretty trash without recovery

    roster MrInsanity

HM Nick Mags Venom Medusa and kinda Apoc... anybody reliant on bleeds all benefit greatly from deep wounds so that would help to unlock as well. Willpower is a more defensive mastery so for when you get hit by a weakness or something you can heal. Also helps OR since he can heal from the bleeds he gets as well as any other resistant champions.
Deep wounds extends bleeds by a large amount at max, 2.5 seconds. Any bleeders that have a high damage but short bleed like nick fury is awesome since they tick for way more.

Just ask yourself, do you want to finish fights faster with champions who have bleed? Or do you want to get regen from non damaging debuffs with everyone, (but not as common/consistent since not many non damaging debuffs)?

Idk man, I have one point in WP and zero in recov, but I still find A LOT of value from one point in WP, especially in Act 6. I do agree that stand your ground is not particularly useful.

I think id rather go with deep wounds atm since HM is probably gonna be my TB rank up. I am kinda leaning towards WP since I often hear about how good it is though. Idrk. Since I dont have enough to do either completely yet, should I just leave my masteries alone till I get enough units to do so? I think I'm gonna work towards max despair and deep wounds, along with at least a point in assassin.
To do list (free version): One point of limber, One point crit resistance, max courage and 1 into despair, unmax stand your ground and put remaining points into physical resistance and any attack boost.
Priorities imo: Max Deep wounds, then Despair 3 points, then Assassin/Salve+Recovery+Willpower

by attack boost do you mean like greater strength or...?
Yeah anything that helps your attack if you have any spare points that won't be used anywhere else, because you might as well put them somewhere
