Here is what I'd love as a compensation which affected almost a month of joy with so many lags and crashes and problems and bug bug bugs... BUGS! @JoseOk
Honestly, while I wouldn't scoff at the shards, the thing I want the most are solo non-AQ revives and heals. If we only got 5 level 2 solo revives, I'd be pretty upset. I'd like the next one to be very generous for potions for solo play.
A major issue for a lot of players is the probability that many pots will just go into stash and are likely to wind up being sold at expiry.
With respect to heals/revives, it would be preferable to get crystals that could be opened as needed rather than a glut of pots—anything that expires immediately has diminished value for most players.
It’s also relevant to point out that the promise of an initial relief package is for “some time” this week, with a subsequent reassessment of the bug’s impact once the hot fix goes live after August 3. That could technically be any time between now and Saturday.
It’s “possible” the initial relief package will amaze everyone—but the announcement sounds as if it’s intended to be a stopgap measure until the team can measure how far-reaching the bug damage has been.
What does that mean? I have no idea if it will be meant only to make up just for lost items over this month or also lost opportunities or even to serve as enticement for those who have mostly put the game down.
Personally, I have appreciated the AQ packages. I have appreciated the AW cancellation and early payout. I would like to think at least the same generosity will mark the “overall gameplay” relief as well—especially since it has been slow to arrive.
This is what I would like to have seen / continue want to see until its fixed.
1: AQ: remove/raise the 15 item limit. If its acknowledged there is an issue causing us to use these items, even free, there is still a limit, and unless you are using corvus, you are usually using several items per incident.
2: raise the limit for currency/items being gifted (temporarily). This week I'll get over 11K glory between compensation and actual AQ. I think its a great currency / reasonable compensation, but it is actually hard to spend it that quickly week after week.
3: the potions given yesterday were great, I'd also say the price of them for those who really want to do content should be halved until this is resolved.
