My alliance mate, Thiago MTC recorded this beautiful solo where he shows that Cosmic Rider has the utility and the damage needed to solo Mysterio on 6.3.5 without a trouble. The key here is the vigilance buff

    How does he get the vigilance buff in the first place? Doesn't that boss have tunnel vision or something that makes you unable to land a full 5-hit combo? I vaguely remember trying out CGR, thinking his vigilance would help me, but getting clapped because I began to miss mid-combo.

    Although it is after midnight where I'm at and it was a while ago, so maybe I'm mixing things up.

    But yeah, cool video. Great showcase. I love CGR. He doesn't really come with any of the utility that I have needed recently so he's sat a bit on the bench, but he's such a great champ when you are able to use him for stuff and he just feels amazing to play.

    No, you're right. This boss does have Tunnel Vision on him. What I think is happening is that CGR is parrying him, Medium, Light, miss the next light, stun ends just as he lands the next light, Medium to get the buff.

    If you go LLMLM after a parry you can whiff the second light and still land the last medium for the vigilance
