These are my other mutants, I have an r5 max sig mags already and use storm x a lot in aw (great for korg and all the skill defenders).

What would you do?

I have r3 void, nick and cmm already.

People need to get away from this “I have them as a 5* maxed out”. While we might not need a r3 6* for any specific content right now that doesn’t mean the future won’t omit 5*. Act 8 maybe only 6*?

Either way I’d hold and wait.

I get that but I like to use what I have and rank when I can rather than wait. Who knows what will happen in the future and t5cc is coming faster n faster.

Mags at 5* crushes most match up still with 1 sp3 so I'm not sure if a 6* r3 will help me too much.

I would go for Professor X first, but since Mags hits hard enough at r2, Storm would be a great second pick

I would r3 Prof X, Domino, Mags and Bishop before her, but that's jsut my preference.

I'd love to do domino but just find she doesn't have the same reliability or utility.

How good is prof x for korg mix master? Storm is my go to for that fight.

I've not used bishop much yet but was a little underwhelmed when I tested him out but that's undupe at r1.

The synergies are good with prof x, I just find him a little more complicated. I think that's my main decision. Prof or storm....

Professor X is one of the best evade counters in the game, it’s pretty easy to hit 25 cerebro charges and once you do he shuts down evade completely. And since his attacks all do energy damage instead of physical, he’s perfect for bypassing Korg’s thorns

His medium attacks are actually physical attacks. They do take reflect damage. Agree with everything else you wrote.

He does take a bit of practice to get comfortable with and his playstyle requires you to be patient, but the reward of learning how to use him effectively is well worth it

I've been really enjoying prof x in the cav eq each month. Destroys lanes all on his own.

Not quite. It’s somewhat of a weird description: His first medium attack make contact, but that doesn’t mean that it’s a physical attack. In his kit it says that “All of Professor X’s attacks are psychic and deal energy damage.” But you’re right that the first medium attack can trigger thorn damage because it makes contact, I was thinking that thorns only triggered on physical attacks.

His medium is not physical. It's still an energy attack even though it's contact so it works fine for korg.

Wait hold on, the contact part is only the first part of Korg’s ability description, later down it says that attacks that deal energy damage don’t activate thorns even if they make contact. Man I was getting seriously confused for a second there lol

You are right. My apologies. Even I got fooled by the contact/physical/energy mumbo jumbo.
