6* Torch or CAIW to r3?

Upon forming my long awaited science T5CC today, I'm stuck at a crossroads on who to use it on. I have two top options but can't really decide who would actually get it.

I have a duped torch who I had been planning to take to r3 previously, but the other day I was fortunate enough to dupe my CAIW. I can throw about 160 or so sig stones into CAIW. Putting him to about 180. On the other side I could just save my generics and r3 torch and save the generics for someone else.

Just voting to send positive vibes into the universe to dupe my CAIW

But seriously, can’t go wrong either way. That’s a pretty good sig for Cap

The only thing that makes torch a clear cut winner is if you have abyss 100% left.
Other than that, I can't comment on this one lol, mainly due to the involvement of generic stones. Both top options tho and good luck for whenever you pick!

I would only do it if you really like cap.

Torch and save the generics. While you wait on next t5cc (if you’re doing SoP, might not be that long) you might get another dupe or some science sigs. Esp w the gods and heroes crystal w cap in it.

Torch is probably the #1 safest champ to r3 in the class.

Now cap might be #1 champ to max sig, but those 6* stones are still precious resource so as general principle for maximizing resources I’d hold off as long as possible. From what you’ve shared this choice not really about r3, imo, both deserve it. Question is if you want to sig 180 cap vs distributing those sig levels amongst other champs who don’t need max but benefit from the extra levels.

I have the same dilemma except both my HT and Beardo are unduped…

Max sig Beardo is pretty amazing, but at the end of the day you have to bring in a lot of champs from different classes to make him that good and to give him that utility. Because of that, I've found, it's usually just easier to bring in champs that actually do those specific things better than he does in the first place. He is an amazing entry-level champion but when you have a stacked roster, his superiority falls off considerably. He's still just as good as he was before, but his jack-of-all-trades design isn't as needed when you've got access to all those tradesmen anyway. I'd be very hesitant about pumping him full of generic 6* sig stones so that he can reach his full potential. Those are incredibly rare.

This is mostly a post about why Beardo isn't necessarily the best 6r3 champ option out there, because I honestly don't have too much experience with HT. It's possible I'm wrong, but I just feel as if he'd be much easier to just take with you on a team to do one thing (slay mystics/energy-dealers) better than anyone else you have on your roster.

Good luck with your rank-up regardless!
