IHulk immortality prevention by bleed not mentioned in abilities?

Malreck04Malreck04 Member Posts: 3,336 ★★★★★
I remember from when he came out that his immortality would not trigger if he had a bleed on him, and that is indeed how it works in game.

However, while doing the SQ today I was reading his abilities(don’t ask) and noticed that this isn’t mentioned in his abilities.

Am I blind? I’m pretty sure I read everything a couple of times but couldn’t see it. Please tell me where this information was given before I lose faith in my sanity

Dude there's something wrong with his immortality
Whatever Hercules has they should implement for iHulk too
For some reason, I feel that Hercules' immortality is more powerful
    This should get checked

No, those are different. Hercules’ immortality is paused when you’re attacking, that’s just how the ability is.

    @Crcrcrc

I never knew that bleeds prevented immortality tbh.

IHulk needs 15 Gamma charges to enter immortality, and he gains those charges by hitting the opponent with specifics attacks or by being hit, or if inflicted with a degeneration effect; if you use other DOTs like bleed or shock or other ways of secondary damage he won't gain any charge. This means that if most of your damage comes from DOTs you will be able to take IHulk to 0 before he can gains 15 charges, and his immortality won't activate.
You can also prevent it with AAR and DAAR ^_^

This is probably it. I'm almost positive that there never was any ability that said bleeds outright prevented immortality but this is the interaction.

I believe the confusion here is that during his EQ run as boss there was a node that gave him more gamma except while bleeding, meaning that bleeding him *could* stop him from entering immortality as long as you stopped him getting as much gamma

Check out the radiation exposure node at 3:40 here

You’re probably right, I wish Kabam hadn’t Thanos snapped the duel targets so I could try this out.

No I'm not talking about that
Although they should give it to iHulk too

Edit: and I don't know why these trolls are disagreeing. It's so easy to bypass iHulk's immortality. They should pause it and it shouldn't get affected by Bleed or Stun, or be bypassed when throwing a special. Simple.

I guess it's because that wasn't the topic of the thread and isn't exactly the problem OP was mentioning. But imo, iHulk's and Hercules' immortalities are fine as is. Both have their pros and cons.

Edit: The only thing I'd change with iHulk is reducing the cooldown to maybe 30 seconds.

It also can be prevented if you have the Assassins mastery (AAR under 18%), maybe that was confusing you too.
