Ai parrying on stand your ground procs

So in AQ if you attempt to use a heavy attack and the ai procs stand your ground it now parries you...? Is this something new or has this been the case forever?

    It has always been like that...but in AQ? I don't think the enemies in there have stand your ground. I do know some enemies may have parry though, but not stand your ground from my knowledge.
