Is it just me or this month is super grindey?

I mean you have
1. Special arena
2. Special objective Targets to beat specific champs
3. Another Sinister 6 targets to beat
4. EQ
5. AQ
6. AW season (if it begins this month)
Neglecting point 6 as some of you don't like AW, I mean.. just look at the content!
It is really a grind this month!

I haven't read this month's stuff so I have no idea what the digital snapshots do. Unless I'm missing out on some really great rewards, I'm not going to waste time playing specifically to complete those objectives. They'll get done if they get done by me playing normally. Same with special arena. Same with the special solo event.

But at first glance, 32 objectives just does not look appealing at all. Not sure why they'd design it like that.

Its just BS…you need to 100 % every EQ level to get all 😅 Worst content ever made…

Last 3 points are there every month, so ignore them, the arena is 500k points, a team of max 3 stars with no arena boosts gets approx 20k, at most that arena is 30 rounds, so 60 across the month, which takes a couple hours, objectives I agree are a bit grindy, the solo event I’m just gonna ignore, it’s like 1 cav across the whole month

The vast majority of the side event objectives are just to kill the bosses in the main event quest. Which you'd already be doing anyway. People are really blowing it out of proportion.

    In every difficulty?
Only gotta do em each once. Don't have to explore. The first 3 difficulties take like 2 days to do a run

Add last 4 weeks of SOP, The last 2 obviously being the more grindy one and then summoner showdown as well.

    1) I agree. It’s lame.

    2) it should’ve back-completed based on a higher difficulty (I.e. doing Cav would complete lower difficulties).

    3) even though I don’t like it, the store is setup to really allow you to skip some of this stuff and get what you want. It’s day 1 and I haven’t busted my butt, yet I’ve managed 5000 5-star and 6-star shards.

i think it's a tad overwhelming to have 32 objectives thrown at you as a side event on the first minute of the month. that said, i did get about 5 of them done today. i think you will have to somewhat go out of your way to do the side event and get the snapshots, but there will be a lot of people burned out at the end of the month because they've done everything

The game is feeling more and more like a chore though, however.
Not saying it isn't. I'm not a fan of these objectives. Especially since there isn't easy ways to do the P2099 and G2099 objectives.

But regardless of what's happening this month, the community would complain about the update.
    The objectives are to grindy.
The rewards aren't worth the effort.
    The SQ is too confusing.
    Too much energy required.

It's always something. Every month. Every time.

It’s because the rewards are all available at once. It’s really not that much a grind, but more to do everyday. SQ is something you do daily/weekly.

There might be an easier way to do the p2099 and g2099 objective. Do 5 duels per day for them. Better than wasting energy on a quest you won't finish.

“The community” is a cop out. It’s not a monolith. Everyone won’t have their needs met. Some will complain. Some will complain because it’s what they do.

I think we can objectively look at each sidequest for difficulty of fights, hassle/time investment required, rewards, and flexibility to mess up or skip over parts.

This month’s objectives can largely be accomplished against dud champs. There is no difficulty. The rewards are what they should be (on par with other months) and as an added bonus they’re frontloaded. The store is designed to allow you to ignore some objectives. It’s just tedious as all get out.

I do think the people complaining are more likely to be tryhards who are rushing to rttl and act 1/2 to complete objectives today. If you’re one of those people, just give it 2-3 weeks and assess where you’re at. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. I’ve been doing a couple arena rounds every few hours to get class-based kills and sinister six points. When I max my sinister six 3-day points, I’ll stop until the next round.

    Agreed. Duels are probably easier.

I think this is less grindy.
I would have prefered 0 energy side quest in place of heroic+normal energy consuming objectives.

I think the grindier objectives will complete as you go through the month.
Need little strategy to do special arena, using correct class to do that ridiculous objective..

While the eq objectives are a bit meh, I'm fine with everything else including the arena. Either way, this is still probably less grindy than a side-quest that would have been introduced (based on this year's trend).

The store has also beens setup in a way you don't need to get everything. If you want to grind out and get all the t2 and t1cc and 3 star awakening gems, that's on you.
