Future rankups dilemma

Should I keep ranking top-tier (mainly 6*) champs, which I already own in 5/6* ranked version? Likes of Falcon, Apoco, etc.
Or should I diverse my roster, and rank less popular, nontheless still great champs I do not own in another maxed version? These would be someone like Storm X, Bishop, this month's buffs.

    Diverse roster
It depends on what situation you're in. If I had a duped 6* Nick Fury and a Skill t5cc at the ready, you betcha I'd rank that bad boy up despite having a 5* ranked up already. However, if I didn't have a Skill t5cc at the ready, I would probably rank up someone else instead. My 6* roster is more "fun" rank-ups than absolute god-tier, while the opposite is true for my 5*s, simply because I haven't pulled as many 6* champs as I have 5*s and therefore doesn't have the same top-tier roster there.

But overall, I really feel that roster breadth is more important than duplicates until you reach a point where your 6*s start to leave your 5*s behind (I obviously don't recommend that you hold off on 5r5'ing champs that you already have maxed-out 4* versions of, and the same will eventually be the case for 5/6*s as well).

Good point. Of course, if I get opportunity to R3 Daddy Apoc, I will take it, but otherwise, I too feel I should work on champs I don't have. Looks like more fun to me too

I would rank up champs who fill any utility holes in your roster first. But after that, you should rank up whomever you enjoy playing.
Arguments can be made for both sides. Having duped OP champs can let you have one in AQ or AW but still be able to have one for quests. Having a more diverse roster will help when Kabam puts out content that requires or rewards having certain characters/tags.
But at the end of the day, you should have fun playing the game, so do what makes you happy.
