At base venompool has better damage than venom especially in longer fights and is less RNG reliant for said damage while venom has more consistent utility. I'd put him in a similar tier to venom overall as a stand alone champion maybe slightly lower but with a full synergy team I'd place venompool slightly above. He gets a lot of utility from his synergy partners; 7 hit combos off parry, consistent regen buff, limited stun immunity and incinerate immunity
I like Venom better due to the armor break, basically. Like VP's buffs better. Random order, not random buffs? No stacks of PhysRes after a dozen heavies? Neat!
Really though, make Venom not choose the same buff you're rerolling. Please? Plz.

They should just remove the physres completely imo.
I wish that Venompool had access to his fury before having gone through his full rotation to get all of his other buffs, since it takes a while to get into his proper damage. Additionally, it would have been nice if his awakened ability had allowed him to start with his prefered buff (or at least have it have a 100% chance to be pulled first). It doesn't matter too much in most circumstances, but when you need that klyntar buff vs spider-champions, you need it immediately. Not after a minute.
That said, I still really like his buff overall. I feel like he'll be more consistent than Venom in everything but really short fights. As soon as you get all of your cooking buffs or whatever they're called, you just start racking up fury. Venom has the potential to gain fury at the beginning of the fight, but he also has the potential to just pull physical resistance throughout the fight. He can convert them all into fury for massive damage, but then he has to start again. Venompool, meanwhile, will be a little unpredictable in the build-up but will then just consistently gain fury on top of fury on top of fury. I haven't tried him out in any longer fights yet but I see great potential.
I also think he'll be just as good as Venom for the Variants, which is nice for people who haven't already completed them.
I just have one question, is he as good as venom for variants or better or little bit worse? Because I don’t have Venom at a good rarity, but I do have VP as a 6 star so if he actually is good then I can complete some of the variants
Similar to venom but useful in different scenarios in my opinion, that's why i ranked my Venompool even though i had a maxed Venom. Venom's bleeds on basic hits, klintar buff from the start and armor break on heavy make him unique, just like Venompool can take spideys on buffet/pilfer nodes, has shock immunity against tech champions, and can become stun immune for the entire fight (perfect for encroaching stun) ^_^

He has the same tags as Venom so he can do the same variants as him. However, you'll see some differences in how well they tackle various nodes within those variants. Venom could cheese certain paths in the villain variants due to his easy access to armor breaks and (I think?) armor ups. Venompool won't work as well on those paths but he might work better on others.

Edit: Did you mean venompool?
