Venom vs Venompool

In the past few days after venompool was heavily buffed I started to notice that many players prefer venompool over venom.
And I've just went through their abilities and tested their damage and all that and here's what I found as a difference between them.

Venom normally starts with a klyntar mutation buff which increases attack and prevents spider verse champs from evading.
This buff can be removed when inflicted with incinerate.
venompool gets the mutation as a permanent buff after the cookin' meter reaches 100.

venom regenerates when he steals any buff from the enemy and gets the buff as well.
venompool has to particularly steal armor up buffs to regenerate.

venom can inflicts bleed even with basic attacks.
venompool inflicts bleed only through specials.

while oponent is below 18% health, venom activates true strike and unblockable specials.
whereas venompool does not gain true strike.

I personally use venom more often and almost never use venompool so I can't tell who is more reliable to use but I think both are pretty good...

Both are very good, you’re right venom benefits with the true strike, armor break and the healing from sp1. Venompool gets a lot of utility from synergies.

Honestly there is a very few fights I use venom strictly for the true strike. The armor breaks for venompool would have been nice. Regen synergy for venompool is actually really nice. It’s basically active 90% of the time.

Venom feels like more of a bursty champ that constantly converts all of his buffs into fury, which then falls off before he starts to build up again. Venompool, meanwhile, continuously builds strength that doesn't fall off over time. I haven't tested Venompool extensively, but I assume that who is better to bring for a fight probably depends on whether it's a long or a short battle. In longer content, I suspect that Venompool beats Venom quite readily (especially with his synergies) but Venom probably has more reliable damage in the average fight.
