I think SoP ghost has some identity issues

She keeps thinking she’s Hyperion and not throwing specials until she hits sp3

I’m too tired for this

The shoe is on the other foot.

That said, there's definite trends to her behaviour, they're just completely different from normal play. The safest method is to get her to her corner asap, as that mostly removes the idling backdash.

This was trouble for me, as I've built up a habit of backdashing from any AI movement instead of properly dexing, resulting in backoff-standoffs. It's been good practice, honestly.

I’m Cav and he doesn’t complete any objectives but Cap IW worked well because of High Block Proficiency

    6* Rank 2 Unawakened took 120 hits

Use a champion with Taunt mechanic

I’ve gotten 2 solos so far with a third on the way (done Kali and BWDO, gonna do Mysterio soon). The trick is to keep her back to the wall as much as possible. Using someone with specials that have lots of horizontal distance to corner her are phenomenal. From there it’s just practice.

Oh and I forgot to mention baiting heavies at first to get her into the corner is very much worth the block damage.

You can turn off dexterity and use a champ that doesn't naturally gain buffs if spite is the problem

It's you telling her to act like Hyperion, OP: the game's AI is just responding to how you're fighting the fight.

Try thinking of the fight differently. Think of it more like a Bane fight, where the best strategy is to let Bane do the fighting for you.

Whilst I agree she occasionally goes a bit All-or-Nothing, if she's doing it regularly, then the problem is you influencing her AI: you're holding block too much. You need to be back-and-forth, throwing a couple of hits into her block, and Baiting Specials.

In this fight, the Spite isn't a problem - it's an opportunity.

Ghost's special attacks are easy to dodge and punish. Since she's (almost) always impossible to intercept in this fight, Spite (fuelled by Dexterity buffs) gives you extra opportunities to attack her safely.

Whilst I'm a Cavalier, I'm far from skilled: mediocre at best. However I can strategize, and I can practice. Doing both, after a couple of days I was was able to take 80% of her health with a 4/55 Hit Monkey and a 20% boost (at which point I thought "**** it!" and finished with a couple of 20% revives). If I can do that, most Cav players should be able to.

You'll get there: but stop even trying to win for a few games, and just practice for a bit.

I really recommend practicing a different rhythm (of fighting) instead, and you'll see different behaviour from the AI. If you can get into the right rhythm, you'll get her down.

    Good luck!

Thanks y’all! I did figure out how to mostly consistently bait her, it’s just those few times lol

Hard agree that spite was beneficial on this one. Did it with Guilly and it was a fun fight, bait sp1, punish, repeat. In fact it is harder to get openings in another way unless of course you go down the road of getting her in the corner. And yes, holding block wastes a lot of time in this fight, letting her get power

I noticed if I stayed close she was happy to throw SP1 but if I kept distance she would just dance back and forth.

    I didnt turn off dex.
