Maintenance costs 50%

Please make it so that if maintenance starts during a fight, or after we've beaten the AQ defender but before we get back to the map, we do not lose 50% on our attacker champion... (the latter happened to me today).

There is a HUGE BANNER at the bottom ....stupidity is not a developers fault..

I just knew someone would say that.

I'm not talking about fault, I'm not asking for my 50% back. Bug reports don't have to be about immediately assigning fault, or chasing recompense; nor do they have to be about deciding whether we can stick with a work around that has existed for a while (especially one that relies on the user to correctly calculate time zones, and punishes them if they are wrong), instead of striving to improve things just a little.

Instead I'm making a suggestion about something which arguably is a bug, or if not then it's an opportunity to improve things a little.

Could I (and every other player around the world) do the mental arithmetic to figure out when the maintenance starts in my time zone? Yes, and we get punished if we miscalculate.
Could I (and every other player) carefully count the seconds and minutes to avoid it? Yes, and we pay for it if we lose track of time.

Or, since this is a regular event affecting thousands or tens of thousands of users, Kabam could put a timer on the screen in game (or on their website), or give a 5 minute warning message in-game, or set a simple flag in their code to avoid penalizing games interrupted by maintenance.

If you were making a new game NOW, today, which of those options is better? Because maybe that's the one that should be implemented.

Or if you must bring fault into it, why is it on the innocent player to avoid getting punished by Kabam's anti-cheating systems when Kabam is doing planned maintenance on Kabam's servers following Kabam's schedule? Why can't Kabam maybe make it a little easier for us? Answer: they could, if they thought of it and chose to. Maybe this is the first part of that, giving them the idea.

Now I'll hope for change and improvement.

Why would you start a fight seconds before maintenance?

And then call it a bug 🤦🏽‍♂️

And then ask to compensate by building a new feature to track time.
