Summer Of Pain is no more

Finally done with Summer Of Pain, managed to reach the highest tier in both milestones.



Went in with 2800 units, used under 1000 units. Over 400 potions farmed.

Here's how it went and who i used.



Ranked up Spider-Gwen for the one path, initially planned on quaking but then decided Spider-Gwen has the better damage for Grandmaster.

I legit sucked against Grandmaster's reverse control before this but after the Venom run i can say i have a good grip now.

Venom run was glitchy as hell, all icons fusing up and i couldn't tell what i had to do for sp1 so ended up using soo many units.

Spider-Gwen run, Grandmaster just didn't want to play ball.

Thanks to CGR and Torch for all the potions.

Racoon dupe from exploration



Prof X, Deadpool X force and Sunspot dupe from Mutant Nexus crystal, still haven't picked one. I want to pick Prof X and will probably pick Sunspot.

I have 100 6 * sig stones in my inventory, 66 expiring in 14 days, gonna get another 75 sig stones in 10 days and no good duped champ to invest sig stones on so leaning towards Sunspot. Gonna open 4 more 6 stars in 10 days but i don't believe I'm gonna dupe Doom, Sunspot or Cap IW. So, gonna pick Sunspot ( I guess.. Lol)

Managed to get the Mastery Core deal as well.

Pick prof X, 100%. Way more damage, way more utility (and this ones a little more subjective) way more fun.

I do understand wanting to sig up someone, but I wouldn’t say sunspot sigs are worth more than prof X.

Which other champs do you have in your roster that are duped?

he probably wants the prestige lol, I'd recommend Prof X as well but he might have an alliance pressuring him to take the prestige play

I have 8 duped 6 stars,
Nick Fury, Doctor Octopus, Vision Aarkus, Moleman, Emma Frost, Thor Ragnarok, Deadpool x force and Daredevil classic.

None who gain anything from more sigs (IK Moleman does but i don't actually like using specials with unstoppable when using him solely because I don't like staying low on health)

If i don't use the sig stones now, I'll be letting 135 sig stones expire and it's very unlikely ill dupe some good before they do and not sure if i want to gamble my luck there.

Unless you're after prestige picking sunspot dupe over Prof X is a big mistake. Even then
sunspots going to get phased out as a prestige champ when r4s become more accessible

Put those sigs into Doc ock, NF or whoever else you got. I'd personally put them in Aarkus for the guaranteed shrug off

Sigs on sunspot isn't worth more than Prof X

Nope, never went for prestige, my ally has never asked me to invest on someone for prestige.

It's just that I'll have 135 expiring sig stones.

I get your dilemma, I really do. But I don't think it's worth letting a champion as good as Prof X go just so you don't let stones expire. You said you're opening 6*'s after (I assume) SoP rewards Week 10 come out. I'd say gamble on that and hope to dupe someone. Sunspot is good, but unless you chase prestige, 170 sigs on a sunspot isn't worth a Professor X. More sigs will come in future, a Prof X may never.

After opening your crystals in 10 days, if you're unlucky, put the sigs into someone who may get a buff if you don't like your current champs. You won't regret Prof X.

@Demi_GodJay69 If you haven't gotten the AG from abyss completion yet and have a Sig worthy champ in most classes then that's another option.

Jk, Picking Prof X. I'll worry about the stones later.

Will put it on Moleman or Thor Rags he'll get a buff.

Wouldn't rule out easy path though if you revive & potion farm. Especially since you've got Aegon/Doom/torch/NF.

Also compensation should have dropped by then

Would you update this thread after opening your 6* crystals? I’ll be rooting for a good pull!

Yeah I’d say any of Thor Rags, DPXF or DD classic would be good options for the stones. I honestly think a lot could be done with DD classic’s projectile evade. Imagine how useful that could be alongside a kit that has other damage and utility!

Glad you found the secret sauce for Aegon vs Sym Supreme lol.

Just keep restarting until u find the perfect run, I was praying for pacify to work.

Glad to see the crisis was averted. Dooms a nice choice for the sigs, top prestige and gets some nice heavy cheese in match ups.

And you get to enjoy Prof X as well. Wins all around.
