I haven't played Sorcerer much but I've heard a lot of great things about her. That said, Venom is a beast for where you are in the game now (probably). If you plan on going into the variants, he's so good for several of them. He's also really good for the Cav EQ. I'm not sure where Sorcerer shines. I think she's more of a generally useful champion but not one who has a big shining "BRING FOR THIS TYPE OF CONTENT" sign above her, like Venom does.
