Cable horseman synergy

Somehow my cable lost his horseman synergy mid alliance quest. Now I'm stuck on caltrops now and keep taking bleed damage? How did this happen overnight? It worked fine through section 2 biohazard lane now it's gone

    Sucks, i been hearing about this bug for a while now.
