Is Star Lord still worth it in 2021?

I have been trying to do LOL but the game just won't give me Aegon. I have pulled countless skill/mutant dual and no luck at all. So is Star Lord a good alternative for Aegon. I also have one tech awk gem that I can use on him.

    I have a 5/65 200 SL and I love him.
    Does he compare to other techs like Ghost/Warlock? No
    But if you have extra sigs and know how to maintain your combo, I'd definitely do it.
    Do you have any other options other than SL for LOL? Like Apoc with synergies, Prof X, Ultron, Guardian, Colossus, and other heavy hitters etc.

    Trying to maintain the combo might be a little tough for me. But I don't mind learning that tho. My rng is really bad and I just can't pull Apoc, Prof X, Guardian and etc. But I do have Ultron (r4) and Colossus (r3).
