Is King Groot good unduped?

I look at his awakening ability and thought that it will be nice but not necessary and he still is good without it. What do you think? Is unduped KG not worthy or there is a massive difference duped and unduped?

    He is still good without it as he will still have all his damage and most utility without his sig. However, it's kinda night and day for his survivability with his sig and higher sigs also. I have him at R3 sig 200 and trust me when I say, it's a HUGE difference.

    After his buff he's fine unawakened since you can get a good regen off his sp3 but the sig is very good to have.
