Maw can't be hit with guarantee critical attack except the champion has class advantage. Hit monkey's first medium, first light and second medium are all guaranteed to be critical hit, hence the miss.

Idk man sometimes I go blind when reading ablities, I read longshots abilities wrong the first time I fought him and got team koed
