Boss Rush Mephisto is Regenerating Health With 0 Souls

I was playing the game last night and decided to make a run through the Boss Rush challenge. When I got to Mephisto he would not die. He would regenerate health when he got low gaining approximately 30-40k health each time. This is expected except that when he had no souls (0) he should not have regenerated health and I should have been able to finish him. Instead he regenerated health as if he had 4-5 souls gaining 30-40k. I'm using IOS 11.0.3 on an IPhone 7. I already submitted a ticket to kabam for this but if anyone has any updates they would be appreciated.
