We finish map 7 sometimes on day one. With the links gone you can do all or most of your path without waiting for anyone. They reduced the timer to 45 minutes. What more do you want?

We finish map5 by lunchtime UK. It helps if you have members on different timezones. In my bg there are Europeans, Aussies, yanks and Asian. A pretty near perfect mix for a quick finish.

Seriously, that’s great for you and your alliance of 30 people. Problem is, AQ is still a chore for a lot of people, as in trying to get 30 people that can all join early, and move often at the same times.

Yes, the reduced timers helped quite a bit, but when you have AQ set to start at a specific time 5 days a week, trying to get all 30 people to be able to start at the same and get though each section in a reasonable time is a farce (seriously, Google the definition of the word, my description is accurate).

Even *if* all 30 ally mates are able to do the map, getting them all to do so at roughly the same times every day is HARD. It’s gotten to the point where our alliance is more like a revolving door, and having to tag people constantly to move when there’s only a couple hours left to finish their Section 2/3 path because they were stuck waiting the night before for that section to open.

AQ needs an overhaul, in a bad way. Personally I’d like to see them more like Incursions somehow, able to pick up boosts or switch out a champ or two halfway through. Maybe even a choice between mini bosses or even bosses.

I do appreciate the reduced timer, but I also agree that it can still be a bit tight getting through sections. Typically, someone on the team has to fight during work or late at night - in not ideal situations - due to timing of energy or paths/minis not being opened. Doing away with an energy requirement would be great since one could do his or her path at a good time and still leave room for others in different time zones or with different schedules. There would be a natural wait for nodes on the boss, but the energy sometimes prevents someone from moving for enough time that, by the time the energy returns, they then can’t return to the game for several hours due to real life. This is especially so with those extra long paths. People are fighting during breaks or pulling over while driving (I’m serious!) to finish a path. That’s not how the game should be. I get that it’s meant to have people talk and plan and strategize, so I wouldn’t want to see all the teamwork taken from it, but that happens with shared paths and boss fights and such. Give us twice the energy then if they don’t want to do away with energy requirements. We need more flexibility to do this without having to stress over availability and whether or not someone will take out a node in time.
