Will Apoc's purify ability reduction work for this?

Will Apoc's purify ability reduction work for this node in AW, as node says purifies?

If not, suggest some good counters for Nova(with Altitude tactic).. Thanks

He cannot over come the immunity to debuffs. Just purification.

Yeah, the way it’s worded means the immunity would remove the debuffs anyway. It does mean that anyone who punishes purify (havok, jubilee, etc) will trigger those abilities.

It says becomes immune to new debuffs, therefore it should keep whatever was already on it

You’ll want either unblockable mediums, stun immunity, or ranged medium attacks that can’t be parried. Apoc might still be a good choice because after three charges he is stun immune while attacking. Nova will keep shrugging your debuffs on him though.

Alternatives include but are not limited to:
Jabari Panther
Emma Frost (diamond form)
Nick Fury (2nd Life)
Ebony Maw
IMIW
BPCW (w/ armor up to stun reflect)
Sasquatch (while in Wrath)
And more!

Obviously some of these are better than others. Just remember that Nova only activates Parry on his autoblock when above a certain number of charges (I believe it’s 75). Hope this helps!
