Colossus armour ups

Whilst farming some potions, I noticed this ability description at the bottom of Colossus’ breakdown. What’s weird is that if I look at his abilities in the usual character info via the Champions menu, it’s not there?

Something to do with an active synergy perhaps?

Yep. Right on the money. When you use synergies with old champions, the synergy ability is added to their description during that quest.
