Why do you take away duel targets?

So we now have this Venom and Carnage event. When I search for either Venom or Carnage to duel and nothing shows up but bogus results. I've searched for Venom in the past (though not carnage) and have been able to fight him. Now, with the event, they no longer show up. This seems to happen for every event. Whoever the boss champs are, you can't find them in search. Is this intentional? Why is it so hard to find duel targets?

    All you need to do is ask in Global chat and someone will give you a target. I just searched Venom and found easy 3*

    Ask in global or google. For Carnage, search 'Carna', you'll get a 3 star r1 carnage
