Just give everyone a 1* symbiote so we can put this disaster behind us

Kabam, you screwed up. We know it, you know it.
Easiest course of action is to just send 1* Steve to the people who don't have him currently. If it can't work like that, let everyone do Final Preperations again or something along those lines.
You tried a new format for the side events. It's bad (rewards are not as good as you made them out to be), it was received terribly because it was poorly thought out/communicated.
This doesn't even effect me personally but the best course of action is to just reset this all so we can all move on.

I am not a grinder by any means and did them as I explored cav EQ quite easily
If they haven’t got him because of a game issue then that’s a different matter.
I hate the structure of these 2 months, but Kabam told us at the beginning of September that we’d need to do all objectives to gain access to this months event.
So yeah...no use
However, I think most agree that this two month objective system is atrocious. I get that they wanted to try something new here, but good god has it sucked. I did all of the Cavalier objectives, I have access to this month’s event. But I hated almost every one of the objectives. They were a horrid grind that took hours to complete.
Kabam should not open up the event because “they made a mistake.” They didn’t. They *should* open up the event because the prerequisites are terribly boring and unengaging. It would be bad game design to gate Incursion access behind an Arena milestone, just the same way that gating this month’s side quest behind last month’s objectives is bad design.
If last month had been a series of quests that provided a fun challenge or even just a plain old series of fights (less than several hundred), I might have a different take on this. But September was awful and I wouldn’t wish it on anybody. It was worth a shot, I hope Kabam learned from it. But let’s toss that in the bin.
They still have time to finish them and they still complain about it?...
I hated the objectives and expressed it when they were released. When they informed everyone you could do the easiest goal chain and still get the best rewards in October it was game changing. It’s really just a you issue.
The rewards are nice too
For example, I despise arena grinding. That was the only reasonable way to accomplish the 100 6* wins with special attack final blows objective. No amount of rewards would have made me enjoy that, but I did it because I wanted to play the actual content for October.
I hated doing it ... trust me I did ... but when I realized it had to be done in order to gain access to October ... I did it. And honestly so can you.
Plus, These objectives are mind numbingly boring & they don’t even explain , in game, what champs to fight for the “nightmare fuel” objective. Any game mode or task that requires you to search outside the game to find information about said task or quest , is a fail.
Also, if you’re going to require people to fight a 6* Bishop , iceman , kitty or storm, those duel profiles NEED to be available in game…. And they aren’t.
The september rewards were terrible, but for you its enough, and thats why everyone should get access...
U STILL HAVE TIME TO DO THEM, STOP BEING A BUNCH OF CRY BABIES AND DO THEM.
Suggesting that everyone gets a free summoned symbiote is completely ridiculous and unfair to everyone who actually DID what was required.
I’ll admit the whole design of this event and the way it’s set up is pretty garbage, but that isn’t an excuse to give everyone a free pass for this event.
The question was whether compensation would be needed for the people who completed the September objectives if the October content were opened to everybody. I would argue that no, no compensation would be needed because there were rewards attached to the objectives.
Anybody that skips the objectives skips those rewards. That’s how the game has always been. You may say that those rewards were bad anyway, but it is the value that Kabam associated with those tasks. If Kabam wanted to give me more rewards for something I’ve already done, I wouldn’t be mad about it, but I’m not asking for it.
My position is that fun content shouldn’t be gated behind a miserable slog. That’s just poor design. If they need to alter rewards somehow, fine, whatever. But denying players access to fun content is not a good move.
September objectives are still available and October objectives stack
They just make a post about the same thing discussed over and over, instead of reading what is going on and the solution.
This are the same people that say " Well i didnt know.. i dont read ingame mail... Oh no no bad communication.. wahh wahh"... They cant even come to the forums and read about a current situation, they just want the easy route.. i make my post, and someone will answer...
