Discount Omega? Or underrated DOT demigod?

Got him from my mutant nexus, and this is pretty good damage for an unleveled, no suicides, no synergies, unboosted six star. Getting progressively more happier about this pull.

His heavy reach is abysmal tho, and that kind of sucks as I plan to use him mostly as a DOT champ.

I agree with the heavy reach. He was my first r3. Definitely overlooked. Passive pg; effective dot, which nobody is immune to; incinerate immunity; energy and Crit resistance; non contact basics; and that burst damage on sp3. Has more utility than most people think, doesn't need dupe, and is an effective AWD.

Most people say he's overlooked BC of stacked mutant class but there are only a few who I'd definitely take over him when unduped.

though idk why you’d use Havok as a DOT champion

Because he's got a unique form of DoT that no-one is immune to, that's why. And if they shrug it off, they take extra damage.

Also, you can do it through low-hit play whilst saving up for your killer SP3.

Here's an example of how and where you might use Havok for his DoT (last year's Summoner Show Up event - try to ignore me playing like a scrub, and just watch IMIW's health bar start melting)

@thanks4playing cyclops is immune to Havok. Everything except basic attacks that is.

I know he doesn’t take damage from the specials, but does he take damage from feedback?

I often use him in DOT scenarios. Not only can it be a decent source of damage in ordinary situations while you wait to build up to an SP3, you can absolutely cheese certain nodes like Energy Adoption: Ice where each tick of coldsnap (or whatever energy-based DOT you suffer from) grants you/the opponent a plasma charge. You can keep up max DOT damage constantly throughout the fight + have them detonate for extra damage all the time. He doesn't have Bishop or Guardian's crazy energy resistance but he can still survive that energy damage better than most other champions, so I love bringing him into those types of fights.

But as I said, even when you don't straight-up cheese a fight, his DOT can do some serious damage. Not least because you don't have to do very much to have more or less 100% upkeep on it.

    He takes feedback damage, yes.

Havok is a very Havok-like champion. When you need a Havok, Havok is your go-to Havok.

I agree with the heavy-reach, as with every heavy-dependent champions that look like a T-Rex trying to use an uppercut. Lookin' at you, Mr. Fan. Still, very useable with tons of utility. Very Havok.

I mean, the brotherly love only extends so far yeah?

Relating havok to omega seems very odd considering one is a slower ramp up big sp3 champ and the other is a quick burst damage dot champ, I definitely think havok is underrated, though he’s overshadowed by a lot of mutants currently

He is Omega and Guardian in one playstyle-wise.
