Venom in legendary difficulty of side quest

Kabam please look into 1.2 Venom fight on the side quest. This node has buffed up. My Dr. Doom had one fury, one passive fury and a passive prowess several times when triggering sp2. No damage was dealt to Venom. I was fighting Venom for several minutes before having to eventually give up because of no damage at all. These events are ridiculous to cost so much to enter only to find out that you can't do anything but quit and lose the entry costs. Please investigate. I can't submit a ticket for some reason it won't let me log in there. Same log in I did on here.

Hmmm, I wondered about that as I have experienced this as well, and I used Nick Fury, and just like you., Venom didn't take any damage at all.. yet another bug @Kabam Miike @Kabam Zibiit

@Zan0 I understand that passive buffs aren't classified as the same. They are however buffs. Hence being called "buffs". I didn't say it was a bug. The issue is that you can't back put if you made a mistake without losing the entry cost which puts you at a huge disadvantage for the content over the month. Again never mentioned a bug but said the issue is that now I've lost an entry and as a result a chance at full rewards. I could pay my way through fights as I have in the past so as to not miss out on rewards but in this instance just to try and find out that I couldn't do any damage at all after several minutes is just unacceptable. Hope everyone learns from my mistake. I've had it with this game and the peanut gallery comments.

@Zan0 I understand that passive buffs aren't classified as the same. They are however buffs. Hence being called "buffs". I didn't say it was a bug. The issue is that you can't back put if you made a mistake without losing the entry cost which puts you at a huge disadvantage for the content over the month. Again never mentioned a bug but said the issue is that now I've lost an entry and as a result a chance at full rewards. In this game there are buffs, debuffs and passives. There is no such thing as a passive buff.

You could have read the nodes before entering the quest. Your problem is entirely your own fault

I did read the nodes. I also didn't ask for your comment. This is also the known issue category not just bugs only! You could have read that. I'm asking them to give us the opportunity to trial the fights without penalty to the point of absolute loss of entry costs or a way to find out that our champ passive "buffs" will not count. Keep trolling and move on. Your critique is not welcome. I don't live my life around this game and learning every aspect of something that I use for entertainment purposes only. Keep defending Kabam and arguing with veteran players fella! Kabam totally cares about you and appreciates your backing of them. You've got good things coming from them asap, I'm sure.

@Zan0 is correct. Buffed up has always worked way. Passives DO NOT count as buffs as they technically are not buffs. Just like how Apocs charges are passive prowess not buffs, thus cannot be nullifed. Just like Passive DEBUFFS do not count as debuffs. Use a duped Silver Centurion against KP and you will see what I mean.

This is my last comment on the subject. I am in fact a veteran player that remembers when these passive effects first came out they were listed as buffs and it caused issues so they changed them to correctly or incorrectly classify them as an effect. I'm glad I made your day better.

Again I'm just asking for a better option for certain nodes like these to prevent players from mistakes being made like I made here with no option but to quit out and lose entry costs along with rewards. Just trying to help all players enjoy the game more

Angela, Hyperion, Odin (on his own or his prefights applied to any champ), Venom himself, Aarkus, Cull, Colossus.... there are dozens of options for this fight. I personally used Voodoo with Odin prefights and it was an easy solo.

That's what the New Preview Feature is for, you can look at Each Defender and All their Nodes while selecting your Team to prepare accordingly. (A Feature that should've been added Years Ago might I add, Especially for Quests with an Entry Cost, but better late than never.)
We'll all have to break our habit of starting the Quest immediately now that the option is available, in game, to check the Quest beforehand.
