Legendary side quest - evade mid heavy?

I just had sym spidey evade the second and third heavy hit from AA after the first one hit him, he then proceeded to wreck me as I now had disorient and he had fury, should that be possible?

My theory/hopes- they don’t want to hand out any more freebies because they’re dangerously close to a fix!

Yeah I’m doing it for long enough to rank my summoned symbiote then I’ll probably drop to epic

He can evade any hits of your heavy if he isn't stunned

He was parry stunned when I started the heavy, oh well good to know, thanks

The legendary SQ is a real step up this month compared to previous events. Which is all good in the sense that the game difficulty has to progress at some point. But doing it while the game is still causing so many issues, fully accepted by the game designers, is a massive kick in the trousers to be brutally honest.

I guess you used wrong method. Dun hit him more than twice as he evade quickly. Just parry and heavy, then evade his SP1. Launch your SP3 and push him to SP2. One-shot him is feasible.

Or otherwise use Venom. It is also a straight forward fight. Evade his SP1 and launch your SP1. That's it.

Doesn’t matter. He’ll evade part of the heavy when he isn’t stunned. Made the same mistake with Diablo. Just wait it out.

i believe that only applies to specials, since once they’re struck by a special, they become ‘stunned’ or have a stunned kinda animation between special attack hits. Heavy attacks don’t work like this unfortunately.

However AA’s sig grants AAR which can shut off the evasion. I wreck sym spidey every time with my AA. No issues 🤙

To be fair, heavies are kinda broken after last update, for heavy attacks that have multiple hits, AI intercepts in the middle or throw a special. Against non evading champs, and just a few miliseconds before the parry-stun ends.
