Go for him ..he is absolutely worth it!!
He is kind of both tbh
A lot of people don’t know his uses but those who know his uses say that he is Super Useful

His immunities to poison & incinerate aren’t true immunities; he converts them to heat charges (in a manner that doesn’t act like a purify). He is a great option for nodes/champs that place these debuffs, punish either immunity, or punish champs that purify buffs.
His low crit rate kind of sucks, but it does make him a decent choice for any node that punishes landing critical hits, and he is still able to dish out good damage with his heat charge bursts.
He’s got some flaws (low block proficiency for a champ that benefits from blocking at times, that low crit rating, struggles against champs with high armor/phys resistance), but his kit does a nice job of balancing these out: 5% regen on sp2 to help mitigate chip damage; pretty nice incinerate on sp3 to help boost his damage in bad matchups.
He’s a nice champ to have ranked up on your roster. He solves a lot of tough matchup problems.

They have similar aspects like Immortality and Burst Damage but their Playstyle is different and they have way different utility.
To OP, I have 5* at R5 sig. 200 and I don't regret the rank up at all, neither the gem and sig. stones that I gave to him. He might not be used anywhere, but he still has his uses in a relevant number of unexpected situations ^_^
