Now , I’m not a fan. It makes it harder to see where your power level is at when the enemy launches a special. In high stress fights and/or fights where you have to keep your eyes on several different icons (buffs, passives , charges, timers, nodes, etc…) , enemy specials are the best time look to see exactly where your power meter is at.
Although I can see some benefit to it, I’d prefer being able to clearly see how much power I have.
I like it for the most part. But I’ve also been playing long enough that I just know about how much power my champ has throughout the fight. Exceptions being champs with wonky power gain rates.
More importantly, it confirmed an interaction I’d only speculated on. There’s a brief interval between when the opponent’s special ends and when you can throw yours. This interval can be cut short by striking the opponent.
