Grinding on the Arena with a limited roster.

Q. I'm currently grinding for the 5* star Shang Chi with a streak of 104, with only 3 5* full max. I've been using units to revive them, but is it possible to use fully max 4* star with PI above 6K? Is there a limit that I can use 4* or 5" without getting the death match?
Or would it just be better off ending the streak and just use up whatever 4* or 5* (those aren't high PI) to get back on the streak again?
The rest of the 5* star roster are only maxed R1 which gives it an average of 3-4K each.
And my current 6* roster are no higher than 9K.
I've been using booster on the 5* to get as many points as possible.
Appreciate any tip or advice.
