Improve AW / AQ Assignments Feature

Hello,
I know our Alliance cannot be the only one going through the issues I am about to discuss. Before I get into the issues I did want to apologize to the moderators for this thread being similar to 2 other posts on the forum (I did perform a search), but those posts were not written out in a clear and concise manner, as per the instructions on forum etiquette, which is why I started this new post.
THE PROBLEM: Players are free to join team-based content even if it is detrimental to the team.
Below I will illustrate some of the issues that are being faced by the majority of mid to low tier alliances (gold 1 or lower).
Example 1 - Joining AW when not assigned and taking up the spot of an assigned player. This effectively creates a disadvantage for the alliance to succeed at winning and 29 players suffer for the actions of 1 player.
Example 2 - Joining the wrong battlegroup for AQ and being unable to finish the AQ map as a team because the member who joined is not skilled enough to handle the content. The entire Alliance suffers as a result because they score less points and get less rewards. This can create feelings of disappointment for members who consistently play and give effort to help the alliance.
Example 3 - A member who recently joined the alliance (less than 1 day ago) decides to join war, but the battlegroup indicates "full" as per the assignments feature. They do not place defenders and leave the alliance before attack phase creating a handicap for the alliance to play through during the war.
The biggest issue that we face as an Alliance is participation for AW and AQ. The main problem with the current system is that players can do whatever they want and Leaders/Officers have no power to stop them other than to kick members who do not comply with their rules after the fact. This does not stop the problem from occurring/recurring since the resolution comes afterwards. You can see in Example 3 that even though the player left of their own will, the Alliance still has to fight the war with 1 less player.
THE SOLUTION: Improve the AW / AQ assignments feature so that it not only assigns an alliance member to a battlegroup, but also reserves their spot so that others who are not assigned cannot join the battlegroup if it is "full".
I think this would be an amazing quality of life change for alliances at all levels, but especially for those that do not have the means to be as organized as some of the top alliances (Plat 4 or higher). This improvement will help to avoid so many mistakes that can occur related to team-based content. None of the scenarios above will be an issue anymore since players would be restricted from joining a battlegroup unless there were less than 10 players assigned (battlegroup isn't "full").
ISSUES TO CONSIDER: it is possible that some bugs may appear as a result of this change. The main issues I can see arising from this change that might need to be considered are:
1 - Assigned players cannot join the battlegroup they were assigned to. The suggested improvement would restrict players from joining a full battlegroup unless assigned, but if the game doesn't recognize the assigned player as being allowed to join the battlegroup then there might be instances where assigned players cannot join AW or AQ when they should be able to.
2 - When Leaders/Officers change AW and AQ assignments there may be a delay to update the reserved spots in AW or AQ. Last minute adjustments to a battlegroup might create problems where players cannot join because the changes could not update in time.
CLOSING STATEMENTS: I hope you consider making this change to your game which I enjoy playing as I truly believe it will make the game better for everyone. It would be great to actually have control over team-based content and not get screwed over by one or two selfish players who don't care about staying in any given alliance.
Thank you for your time.
