Gifting event

Hellp, i tried to search the forums about the gifting and how long it is. I couldnt find it but if i move alliance now, how long til i wait to qualify for rewards as the december 6th passed. How long is the gifting event starting december 20th. Is it wise to move or not.

    Move today and 14 days later you can contribute to the alliance score from what I remember. I was going to move but staying put now so I can trade from day 1

    If i move right now, how long can i wait to qualify for alliance rewards and how long is the event
