I’ve thought about posting a poll to see what the community sees as still the greatest obstacle to progression in the game. But, I still believe it’s “lines in the sand”. The immediately after, it’s 5.3.1. I don’t think the collector matters anymore, it’s just the difficultly increase in 5.2.4 and beyond.
Part of the issue is role reversal. You can’t give up attack value because of bane, but there are quite a few champs whose best abilities don’t work on those class of champs (like using apoc with tech defenders).
And 5.2.5 esp has gotten worse because they updated DDHK with some of the most annoying specials in the game, esp when dealing with bane. Like you can die to bane waiting for his SP2 to end.
If mr negative was awakened, you’d have a hard bane counter. Otherwise, I’d say just lean into your hardest hitters on every match up, maybe use the Odin prefights as a safety net?
