In game alliance chat and global chat not showing.

Hey guys I am encountering a problem from last two days that my in-game global and Alliance chats are always empty. Is this supposed to be normal or something else. Unfortunately don't have a screenshot now but I will post it soon.

    Check settings and see if they got turned off. Otherwise it's probably bad internet? Idk

    Mine were not there at the bottom of the screen yesterday when I logged in even though they were turned on (my global is always turned off but my alliance should have been showing) but when I clicked the icon on the left side of the screen I could select the alliance chat and then they appeared back at the bottom of the screen when I exited back to the main screen.
