Issues with arena

In the distant past, the developer was concerned about the work life balance of the arena. However, the current state of the arena is the worst than any point in the history.
The cutoff of the 6* featured was cut from original cutoff of the 5* featured from 150 to 100(If I remember correctly, the 4* featured was also 150). This alone created the big increase in the arena cutoff.
The highest known cutoff of the 5* arena was silver surfer, which is about 90mil . (Assuming you get around 100k per series for 5* and 200k per series for 6* to simply the calculation). In order to get the champ, it needed around 900 series of 5* champ. Making the assumption that top end player has about 100 champ and we don't have that many 6* back in the date. 5* refresh about 3 times a day and you can get about 300 of those 900 streak for free. It would take 30 hours of grind time plus 180000 units for refresh to get the champ. This can cut down to 20 hours with only 6* refresh.
The highest know cutoff of the 6* arena was knull, which is about 195 mil. Assuming top end player have 150 6*, which is more than quite a large majority of player. It would take a win streak of 975 and 40500 units for refresh to get to the minimum score required(you get around 300 series with free refresh). You can see a great difference there.
Besides the ever higher cutoff, almost everyone can say we have an arena bot problem. This is my personal most frustrate issue. I feel extremely bad if you know you lost to a bot rather than a legitimate player.
How many legitimate player don't have an alliance and grind arena all the time? Even those in an alliance, some may hide in those low level one. In addition, how many people can say that they can maintain a 2000 win streak in 3 day(assuming 2 min per series), which take 66.7 hours out of possible 72 hours. We can see a lot outrageous high streak in those accounts. If the problem is only a month, I understand it take time to get rid of those. However, the problem persists since the introduction of the 6* arena. How a company can ignore the bot problem for so long? We need to better way to get rid of those bot account. Manual check in one arena may able to uncover a lot of those. Furthermore, those accounts may have a great influence in upcoming gifting event because they got a lot of free units from those arena bot grind. The legitimacy of gifting event may get comprised by those accounts.
Then, there are those mercs. Mercs is a known issue for a long time. It may be tougher to catch by the program since they have normal user input. I would suggest to ban VPN for arena rank reward. I heard some people said that some countries may need to use VPN to access the game. But, how many of those actual grind for arena rank reward. Probably not that many. In order to further eliminate the Mercs, it may be a sacrifice to be made.
Hopefully, this post isn't too long. Just express my opinion in current arena issues.
