The title. I have him at sig 3 just awakened idk if I should sig him up or if hes good anymore. Thoughts?

Ask this question at sig 200 with suicides or against any bleed defender or node, against Elsa running suicides, etc. Who else does what he does? Synergies help him a lot too, but what he does, he does well through out all content.

Hes still A game champ w apoc prof x etc.

A lot of people say he's not meta, but he fits so many great scenarios.

I find I use him frequently on path 5 in war (t4-5)

Often can find hit monkey, nick fury, kingpin, korg, KM, etc on this path and he just facerolls these defenders plus many more.

His death spore reduce the chance to shrug debuffs.
He's poison immune, and basically bleed immune.
His medium/heavy/and most hits of his special cannot reflect damage back to him (i.e. thorns, electro, awakened korg, killmonger, etc)
No one in the game is immune to his death spores (robots just are slower to stack, but I never use him vs robots)
Death spores also reduce opponent armor rating

He has sustainability with regen on sp1&3

And if the defender is playing super defensive AI, (backs into corner and just holds block) there's been many times I'll just go stand next to them and block too. Let the death spores do all the work lol

Also chance on medium attacks to be unblockable.

The really only drawbacks to him is:
1. Not great vs robots
2. Not ideal for stun immune defenders unless you're a pro player and know how to punish with heavy attacks to stack degen
3. To maximize damage output, synergies really help (but aren't REQUIRED)
4. Also gets a HUGE benefit from running suicides with little to no drawback
5. Requires high sig to also output his best damage


All & all, I love the champ personally. He's one of my favorites and I almost made him my first R4 6*, but instead opted for Herc.

Used a gem on mine last year and it has been haunting me ever since since he almost never gets use . There’s just better mutants out there nowadays. Dont make the same mistake i did and save your resources. Kitty would better make use of those sigs

Very good, but not at the top of the game

He was my first ever six star. I neither run suicides nor he is awakened. Most people say that he really really needs the awakened ability otherwise more or less he is trash. But I never felt it that way. I r2ed him, and tested him gains ROL W/full synergies. U just need to remember one thing. Either don't leave contact from the opponent or just for safety, inflict a degen debuff, to allow deaths spores to not fall off. And just keep going to sp2. Like this keep doing it. Inflict death spores, indict degen via heavy, re-inflict if it finishes, actually sp2. The damage is awesome, big red numbers, 2 to 3k damage per tick. And utility 😘 good against bio hazard. And suicide masteries are awesome. Nice Regen, with and without will power, good again purify and tenacity nodes and opponents. Good against korg, electro, and many annoying thorns or spikes nodes, smooth animations, at least top 7 or 6 mutants I think. Really worth it and if I show him I will take him to r3. Because I don't use him much

I think the necessity to have suicides, awakened and high sig makes him not as practical as other mutants.

Omega was my most used champ for over a year. He's still amazing pretty much everywhere in the game. I just moved on to newer toys.

If you like him (and run suicides), he can still put in work for you.

He’s the top mutant champion in a lot of instances. He’s better than prof x overall but worse than apoc. He does need to be close to max sig though.
