Does Odin’s shock resistance pre-fight work on Electro’s static shock?

I would think it does but I’m not sure.

Shock is a specific debuff(or passive) that deals damage over time, static shock is reflected damage. While the names may be similar they are two clearly different things, so probably not. That's not saying that it wouldn't be logical if it did, but seems unlikely from a coding perspective.

Guardian does very well against Electro just to let you know.

Yes he does for whomever disagreed because you probably don’t have Guardian. He takes very minimal static shock damage….

No. Static shock is just thename of the ability.

It deals energy damage, not shock damage

The fact that this isn’t shock damage, IS the real problem. But if it WAS shock. We could counter it.

Use Max sig Namor or Diablo with the energy damage prefight.

It's cause most of guardians damage comes from shock and electro takes no shock dmaage

He doesn't take damage but he also doesn't do any damage, most of his damage comes from the burst of shock damage on hit and that deadly shock debuff from the SP2 and Electro is immune to them. He can still be used and I used mine in the past when I had to, but he isn't my first choice whenever I see an Electro, I much prefer to use someone like Havok or Falcon or even Prof.X ^_^

It's only because Guardian has very high energy resist that he takes little damage to electro.

I believe it’s physical damage, otherwise my sig 200 ultron would regen back 80% of the damage.

Static shock is not actually shock damage.

Ultron heals from energy attacks. Not energy damage.
