Peni power burn debuff

Anyone knows why Corvus is taking damage from power burn debuff? Power burn debuff should not inflict damage per se, just burn power as the same name indicates. Peni just used an sp1, Corvus was on the other side of the screen, didn’t touch Peni… yet Corvus started losing lower AND health… why health? Thanks

    Your screenshot says it all. Burns power and deals direct damage for power burnt.

    There is no description of such a thing in Peni description.
    It says power burn debuff, no direct damage. Power burn debuff is not causing damage except if they call power burn debuff a new type of debuff with the same exact name they used for old power burn.
    Direct damage is related with Auto-block but she did not auto-block Corvus in that picture.

    Power burn, as opposed to power drain and power steal deals damage for the power it drains. It has always done that.

    His answer wasn’t useless, if you read the description of power burn in your screenshot it literally explains that you take direct damage depending on the amount of power burnt..

    Maybe you need to read my question first. That description is in the icon during the fight. I was asking why I was taking damage since there is no description of such a damage in Peni’s ability description.

    It is useless because I know Corvus was taking direct damage… therefore my question. Why? Peni’s description says power burn for sp1 and power burn AND direct damage for auto-block. Hence my confusion… why say power burn AND direct damage in one place and only power burn in the other. Power burn debuff implies direct damage as Raichu pointed out. So when the description says power burn AND direct damage, this direct damage is redundant.
