Rank up gems not being able to be used

I have a 3 to 4 five star generic rank up gem, and it isn’t showing up to rank up Claire, but it is showing up to rank up starky

    Most likely a year restricted gem that can only be used on champs released before the end of 2017

    I had a problem that I wanted to use the 2017 generic rank up gem on falcon since I had one in overflow but I couldn't. I had to use the skill one I also had in my inventory. Not that it matters since they are useless but still.

    The game defaults to class gems ; you’d have to reach out to support to have them workaround that and enable you to use the generic.

    It’s pretty absurd that this issue hasn’t been properly addressed since these gems were introduced back in 2018.
