I've never had much of an issue to begin with, but I like that there's less load time. Also, glad that it's better for you.
I kinda wish the background changed for the champion screen automatically, instead of just being whatever background you had on, since it's a bit off-putting, but that's just me nit-picking.

It seems that the loading screen pops up when there’s a background change, if the champion screen was one single one then there would always be a loading screen going in and out. I like it the way it is now
