Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think he should be taking any Poison damage.

    I used my 4 star Diablo against my own 5 star Diablo, so no synergies...

    Its because Diablo increases his own posion potency. So your Debuffs deal 160% damage, while the opponent Diablo only reduces this damage by 100%, leaving 60%, or about 9 damage per second.
