Which mutant to use rank 3 materials on, and is any worthy of 6-star generic?

I still don’t have many decent cosmic or tech 6-star champs, but I’ve done well with the mutants. I just formed a t5 mutant catalyst and have a generic awakening gem. I also run suicides most of the time since I grind arena til I hate myself.
Who should I rank 3 and is any useful of my only generic awakening gem? I’ll post 5 star rosters as well

Is it the extra survivability or does he
Really do much quicker damage?
Great champ. But peope used to think you didn’t even need to rank 5 the five star version since you got the ability reduction and lots of damage from the neurotoxins of a rank 4.
What am I missing?
